As Lori Anderson's uncle stepped out the back door he was surprised to hear 7-year-old Lori in the back yard singing her heart out. It wasn’t the typical voice of a young girl as she actually sang with the power and talent of a seasoned older singer. She has been amazing her audiences ever since. She began holding monthly talent shows in her neighborhood enlisting all the kids to perform. It became a neighborhood tradition for many years to follow.  Eventually this little talent show would become a thriving business for Lori. She started a nonprofit fundraising organization at age 16 putting on free concerts for children’s charities. She was president and founder of the organization for the next 19 years.
Lori sang when ever and where ever the opportunity would arise; fairs, fundraisers, and talent shows -- one of which took her to the state finals in her home state of Indiana. When she was old enough to start the club circuit she performed with house bands in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Traveling and playing in bars, night clubs, and honky tonks finally lead Lori to Nashville TN where she met independent producer Dick McVey in 1991.
Lori was at a crossroad in her life torn between a dream and raising a family. Needless to say, Loris good-hearted nature led her back home to raise a family. She continued singing locally for the next several years doing concerts and performing at every opportunity. She also continued her work with her charitable organization.  Now Lori has just finished her first album "Goodbye Town" with Producer and Publicist Dick McVey. She has released her 3 singles from that album, the Patsy Cline classic, "Leavin On Your Mind" and an original song written by Jerry Cupit titled "Coffees on The Table." And A Tom Paden/ Jim Allison song Called “Walkin’ on The Blue Side”. On November 25th 2006 Lori performed her debut album to a packed house at the Downtown Bedford Convention Center. She had an all star band come up from Nashville's Grand Ole Opry to accompany her, including Tim McGraw’s drummer; Billy "Thunder"  Mason.  Lori will begin touring in late summer 2007 in conjunction with the Conman Radio show. She will tour 130 cities nation wide. Cities where The Conman Radio show is aired and the Cities where radio stations have graced us with Lori Anderson’s music. Lori's tour will lead her back to Nashville for her showcase and with luck determination and hard work this will be a turning point in her career. Lori's success comes from her positive attitude, outgoing personality, electrifying talent, and, most of all, determination. Her beauty, charm, honesty and professionalism are but a few of her assets. It is apparent why those who meet her are instant fans. Lori's talent and personality on and off stage guarantee her to be a popular attraction wherever she goes and an absolute asset in today’s world of country music. Although the road has been long and hard, Lori feels she has grown in her talent and as a human being. She has gained extensive knowledge that help make her a better performer and an influential talent in country music. She has no regrets in the twists and turns she has faced throughout this journey and hopes to use every road she has traveled as a lesson learned as she keeps on keeping on.
